How to prepare Palak Paneer:
Step 1) To prepare the paneer smooth, soak it into the water for some time. Cut this paneer in little cubes & put aside. To make sure that the spinach is adulterant-free just soak it in the water & have a small pinch of salt. Now clean & wash spinach completely. Heat the deep vessel. Add spinach & cook covered until it turns mushy and soft. You should not pour any water as spinach gets prepared in its own water.
Step 2) When the spinach is boiled, bring it out & allow it to cool. Prepare a puree with a blender. Heat the pan with butter on a medium flame. Have onion, chilies, garlic into it & saute. Have grated tomatoes into the pan & cook for around two minutes. Now add the pureed spinach along with the fresh cream & one cup milk. Cook it for five to seven mins.
Step 3) When, the gravy begins to simmer, have salt & paneer pieces. Dissolve the cornflour into half a cup water & put it into the gravy. It would give it a thick and restaurant kind of consistency. Cook for around three to four mins. Switch off the heat & transfer Palak Paneer into a serving bowl. Garnish it using freshly chopped coriander leaves & whipped cream. To have it more creamy, use some white butter, it would accentuate the taste of the dish. And, if you like to relish it in an authentic way, then you could have some white butter.
