Ingredients for Kesar Kaju Katli:
- Sugar - 1 cup
- Water - 1/4 cup
- Silver wok as needed
- Powdered cashews - 1 1/2 cup
- Saffron - 2 strand
How to prepare Kesar Kaju Katli:
1) To prepare this dessert recipe, soak the saffron whole night in milk. Now, grind the cashews in a very nice powder and put it beside. Take a vessel and drop sugar and some water. Stir it till they are completely dissolved. Take it for boiling.
2) When the syrup accomplishes 1 string consistency. Drop crushed saffron into it. Combine the cashew powder into it as well & cook it till the mixture begins to get thick.
3) When the mixture is heated switch off the flame. Put the cooked mixture into a plate and let it cool. Once the mix is cooled, knead it properly & roll between 2 butter paper into a circle.
4) Lastly, cut in the aspired shape & serve with passion.
